Lombok’s sacred volcano, Gunung Rinjani, soars 12,221 feet (3,726 meters) above sea level. The second highest volcano in Indonesia, it attracts thousands of trekkers and climbers annually.

This 5-day trek travels from Sembalun Lawang to Senaru via the crater rim of Mount Rinjani and the caldera lake of Segara Anak. Walking through some of the nature reserve’s 41,330 hectares of unique tropical flora and fauna, you will experience a picturesque haven of magnificent waterfalls, hot springs, and lush jungle. It’s not an easy journey, and requires a good level of physical fitness. But for those up for the challenge, it’s an unforgettable experience.
